YOUR ROLE
The Malha Óptica Project QHSE Manager is responsible to assist the Senior Malha Óptica Project Manager / Malha Óptica Project Manager for development, implementation and monitor the Project QHSE plan to ensure its compliance with the Company QHSE management system, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45000 standards, ISM code or other standards required by the Customer.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan and develop a Malha Óptica Project QHSE plan that meets the Company QHSE management system, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45000 standards, ISM code and other standards required by the Customer.
- To prepare, develop and implement the Malha Óptica Project QHSE documentations in line with the Company QHSE management system, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45000 standards, ISM code and other standards required by the Customer.
- To plan, coordinate and ensure the effectiveness of internal and external vessel audits/inspection.
- To monitor and ensure the Malha Óptica Project delivery compliance with all quality, health and safety environment legislation.
- To ensure that all Malha Óptica Project hazardous activities are analyzed and required preventive measures are implemented.
- To perform safety surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective and preventative measures, and follow up on task completion during the Malha Óptica Project implementation.
- To identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices during the Malha Óptica Project implementation.
- To coordinate with HR on compliance with Malha Óptica Project QHSE training requirements.
- To participate in Malha Óptica Project, Contract, and Safety Meetings.
- To establish Reporting & Recording environment to gather Malha Óptica Project incident data, and to ensure timely reporting of HSE parameters to relevant stakeholders
- To analyze the Malha Óptica Project Incident data and Identify trends, and provide Recommend actions to avoid Incidents
- To ensure management of all Malha Óptica Project hazardous waste and maintain records of the same.
- To ensure the Malha Óptica Project implementation compliance with Occupational regulations and standards, contractual requirements and environmental regulations.
- To Develop and implement efficient Malha Óptica Project operations emergency response plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff & leadership and influence, both verbally and in writing
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and take responsibility
- Written, spoken and reading English ability
- A working knowledge of the Portuguese language
- Advanced analytical / problem-solving skills
- A willingness to travel for project related requirements
